A series of vintage slide viewers, mounted on individual stands, each modified with an ESP32 microcontroller and a 2-inch LED screen.  Instead of revealing a photographic slide, each displays a moving eye that appears to return the viewer’s gaze. Generated text unfolds across the screens, creating fleeting reflections on looking, attention and the encounter between artwork and audience.
